INITIAL IDEAS
This is where the 'Create' section on the NEA starts and you are able to draw on everything you have learnt so far to get creative and start producing some potential solutions to the problem you are solving. Initially, you want a broad and varied range of ideas that meet most of your Design Criteria but they do not need to be explained in a great level of detail as that comes later. You will be coming up with at least 10 initial ideas.
This section falls under two parts of the mark scheme:
Section 2.1 Generation of Initial Ideas:
'Different and relevant design approaches that lead to ideas that totally avoid design fixation, offer scope of challenge and fully reflect requirements'
Section 3.2 Quality of Initial Ideas
