USER FEEDBACK

CHECKING WITH YOUR STAKEHOLDERS
Before you proceed any further with your Technical Specification, you will need to get some feedback from your primary user. It is vital that you do this before making any final adjustments to your design and proceeding to the prototyping stage.

For this to be successful and useful you must be prepared to receive feedback that could mean that you have to make alterations, as this is what being a designer is all about! The more that you can show that you have listened to the views of your primary user and stakeholders, and the more you can demonstrate that you are able to take that on board and iterate accordingly, the more marks you will gain.

How to go about this:

-
Show your primary user your designs - this will include prototypes, your CAD and any renders you have produced, along with how you visualise the product being marketed.
-
You will need to have a conversation with them - you may wish to have a series of questions pre-written so that you can ensure that you find out what you need to know.
-
If the conversation cannot be conducted in person, then you will need to make sure that they can properly access visual material and be able to answer your questions via video chat or similar.
-
You MUST RECORD the conversation, preferably on video but failing that an audio recording will be enough.
