SELF ASSESSMENT
1
OF YOUR PROJECT AGAINST THE MARK SCHEME
Now that you have reached the end of the NEA you have the opportunity to BOOST your work and ensure that it is at the standard you would like. In order to improve your work you need to understand where there is scope to improve and to do this effectively you should first review your work against the mark scheme.

There are a few steps to this:

1) Use the tick-list - this is the easiest way to make sure everything is included within your NEA. Note any missing elements and ADD them.

2) Use the OCR mark scheme alongside the OCR marking guidance to mark your work and see what you think you would get.

3) Note where you are not in the top mark band and ADD work that would enable you to move into that mark band, be specific about what you are missing. Don't just add more aimlessly in the hope it will get you more marks, be purposeful in what you need to achieve.

Ticklist
Work through your work section by section. Only tick a point off if you have achieved it fully. If partially done use a '-' and if it is not done at all leave it blank.

The most up to date version of the Ticklist for submission in 2022 is here (it's also on classroom for you and you have your own copy).
Check against Markscheme
Your teacher will have gone through this in your lesson but if you missed it please watch the video below which will help you understand how to self assess your work against the official OCR mark scheme.
Below you will find the updated mark scheme FOR 2022 AND the general marking guidance (NO UPDATED VERSION AVAILABLE, but still useful on the whole) released by OCR. These have also been shared with you by your teacher via google classroom.
