POST-IT NOTE SHUFFLE
!
What is the aim?
The aim is to use your classmates to help you. have you ever heard the phrase 'Two heads are better than one'. this is try at ant stage of the design process and being the only one designing means you are more likely to get fixated on an idea.
The technique
1) Write your brief down on a post-it-note, you have 30 seconds to tell those on your table what your brief is and explain anything else that you need to (but don't share ideas).#

2) Everybody on the table then has one minute to sketch 1 idea down for you on a post-it-note

3) Repeat step 2.

4) You now have at least 6 ideas that have been designed for you. Take a photo of these ideas and discuss them as a group for 2 minutes to ensure you understand the concepts.

5) Swap person until everyone on the table has had a chance to be designed for.
Documenting this...
You will end up with at least 6 sketched out ideas on post it notes. Take a photo of these and add them to your slides. make sure you explain it. If you think an idea or two has potential you may want to draw that idea up as one of your 10 initial concepts stating that your classmate helped with using the post-it-note shuffle technique
